We simply need someone present for a walkthrough at the beginning to show us how things work and for a last check and lockup at the conclusion. Please give us the name and contact information of anyone else who will be present on the property during the transfer so that we may keep them informed on the day of the move.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept more passengers because our insurance only protects our staff and your property.
Our employees put a lot of effort into pleasing our clients, but they do occasionally need to take a 5- to 10-minute break. If the customer requests it, we usually don’t deduct these little pauses from the fee, but keep in mind that they allow for a very brisk pace the rest of the day. It really doesn’t add time to the bill because if they didn’t take a 5-minute break every few hours, I doubt they would be able to work as quickly as they do all day. If they do take a break for lunch in between loading and unloading, they will undoubtedly take that time out of your total.
Everything in the house is expertly wrapped in our moving blankets, and we don’t unwrap anything until we’ve placed it at the other end. In order to prevent scratching or scuffing of your flooring as we move our dollies in and out of the house, we also utilise a special kind of rubberized floor runner that we place throughout the house. Although we will still cover it with a blanket in the truck to protect it during transport, some items may be safe to carry outside to the truck without being completely wrapped in the house.
